Project Title: Sully On The Loose
Processing
In processing the sound, I compressed and EQ’d my vocals, and added echo to all of the vocals. I also EQ’d and compressed the snare and hi-hat. I used flanger on the synth and melody tracks, and the “my sample” track to make the guitar sound closer to real. Any process I use is to help create clear instrumentation and create space between those elements. In this case, I didn’t want a “wall of sound”. I wanted the beat to keep driving to build a doughnut to let the toddler scream and giggle in and out of.
